deHuman
A downloadable game
deHuman is a live-action role playing game for two players about someone who is turning into a Monster. As the Monster resists the burden of expectations that others have placed upon them, they will gradually develop physical traits to embody their true Monstrous self.
One player takes on the role of the Monster while the other player is the Monster’s supportive Friend who is helping them through their transformation.
Change can be difficult in the best of circumstances, but sometimes the support and acceptance of a loved one makes all the difference.
Become the best Monster you can be!

Content note:
deHuman is a game that explores themes of marginalization, alienation, stereotypes, and identity.
Many marginalized people experience being treated as inhuman or even monstrous. deHuman is a game about embracing one’s own monstrousness and accepting the traits that others deem inhuman, in defiance of society’s burdensome, unfair, or bigoted expectations.
While deHuman focuses on healing and self-acceptance, it may potentially touch on trauma rooted in experiences of oppression and discrimination.
